Bristol International Comic and Small Press Expo

So, this weekend was VERY eventful! Moved into a new flat, started selling my illustration prints to actual people…and went to my first comic convention!!!

Well I don’t know a huge amount about comics, but as ‘Tales of the Spiffing’ (a book by the artists of Aardman, which I’m also in) was to have it’s own stall I thought I would pop along and experience it first hand, and see if it’s really like the movies! And….it is! haha, apparently the London ones are big on dressing up but I thought the Bristol lot did pretty good with their coloured wigs and freaky contact lenses, nice job! Anyway, I was super impressed and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is remotely geeky, such as myself :) And the live-drawing (which I took part in myself! haha) is really fantastic, so much talent there! Oh, and I was selling my prints :)
