Aardman digital won 2 FREAKING BAFTA’S :) for these little beauts, the Tate Movie Project, and for the Wallace and Gromit; World of Invention website, two projects I am very proud to be a part of! Let’s hope 2012 is equally as super!

They weren’t excited about the picture…so I drew it big, cut some holes for faces, and BOOM! instant Royal Wedding excitement! :)

This was the first game design I’ve ever worked on, so I’m a tad proud, but the impressive thing about this game is the physics behind this bad boy! They are just unbelievable, I work with some true genius’s! well done everyone!

Straight outta Clifton, a crazy muthaflipper named Jamspoon

So, I spent my Thursday evening standing on the roof of Aardman Animations, on a chair, pouring delightful drops of goodness over the delightful Gavin Strange, aka Jamfactory, for his spoof of the Gordins gin & tonic ad, but with his own toys, Droplets! Lotsa fun, and the outcome is awesome…well done Mr Strange, was a pleasure :)

FLIPBOOK PROTOTYPE

a lil side-project for UWE. The kind people there have asked some Aardman peeps if we wanted to make some flipbooks for them for an up-coming exhibition, so this is my quick lil prototype…MOUSTACHE-INSPIRED OF COURSE! hopefully to be followed by a nice shiny one from the good people at UWE

THE TATE MOVIE PROJECT!!!!

So, the Tate Movie project is one of Aardman’s biggest digital projects, in collaboration with the Tate museum and Fallon, which I was very lucky to be the junior designer for, meaning I got the chance to design lots of gorgeous content for this exciting website.

The aim of the site is to encourage children to be creative and upload their pictures, scripts, sounds, and create animations, in the hope that they will end up in a 20min movie, made completely by them! There’s loadsa fun stuff do do too, like earning trophies, adding buddies,and playing with the animated sets and characters.

It’s a very exciting and huge project, which will include roadshows all over the country to get the kids involved, and I feel really priviliged to have been so involved with it!
